Government-sponsored visit to Barcelona
Landing in Barcelona is a government program created by Barcelona Activa, the purpose of the website is to attract and invite 10 companies from different verticals that are interested in potentially expanding their market reach to Spain.
I was part of the project as a web designer, I created the branding for the project, design and development in a builder of a responsive landing page adapted to the government design regulations using a website builder called unbounce.

Barcelona Activa is Barcelona City Council's Local Development Agency, its a tool for designing and implementing its employment policies and plans for creating businesses.
For this palette I chose water shades because Barcelona is a Coastal city, acqua means water in latin, this shade brings a refreshing and calming meaning, and its used mainly as an accent color.
To compliment it I added a dark shade of blue to balance the brightness of the acqua, this colours usually symbolise importance, power, and authority. Because is much darker, it works as a neutral color giving it a conservative and authoritarian yet modern look.
I sketched a couple of logo proposals, and the one the client choose was a merged arrow into a bulls eye target, I made a flat simple design to create a minimalistic and clean website.
I decided to go for a clean interface to go with the logo relying mostly on colors and shapes to contrast with the text as the goverment doesnt have much to pair with.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
